Age UK Gloucestershire is an independent charity that promotes and supports the wellbeing of the elderly community within the county.
Through a range of projects, campaigns and activity to promote wellbeing and connectivity, it seeks to promote greater positivity around growing old, regardless of your background or identity.

In Cheltenham, there is recognition and respect of diversity in both sexual orientation and gender identity within our town.

Equality is about making sure people are treated fairly and given fair chances. Equality is not about treating everyone in the same way, but it recognises that individuals’ needs are sometimes best met in different ways.

Cheltenham Borough Homes is responsible for managing and maintaining housing and the homeless service in the region.

Working in relationship with Cheltenham Borough Council, they provide extensive, high quality services for upwards of 5,000 homes.

They also seek to engage with tenants through understanding their backgrounds, circumstances and helping build communities.

FVAF is the Volunteer Centre for the Forest of Dean. They provide assistance to many of the hundreds of voluntary and community organisations in the District who are in turn better able to deliver their work in and for the local community. Services include volunteer recruitment, training, equipment hire and community development.

GCHQ is renowned for their support to the LGBT community, including lighting up the Cheltenham building in rainbow colours numerous times and their LGBT staff network, as well as being in the top 100 for Stonewall's LGBT employers list!

Gloucester Brewery plays host to LGBT nights within it's own factory bar!
A safe place for those who identify as LGBT to meet and socialise, and plenty of fun activities too! They are also well-known for fundraisers for another of our members, Victim Support.

Gloucester City Council is dedicated to making the city a better place to live, work and play by engaging with and empowering local communities.

Internally, they house a range of employee led networks such as PRISM (LGBT+ staff), Disability, Young Employees, Carers and Black Workers.

Gloucester Community Network (GCN) is a 'Not for Profit' Community Organisation which aims to network individuals and organisations who would benefit from knowing about each other's needs and abilities to meet those needs.

We are commissioned by Gloucestershire County Council to offer advice and support to unpaid carers in the County. Our friendly, local, trained advisors can provide information and advice on a wide range of subjects, offer support to suit a cares needs, or just be there to listen. We would like the LGBT+ community to be confident that we are here for all carers and we are very interested in helping to start an LGBT+ carers group. We offer a safe space to talk about you and your caring role, we will work with you to identify how us or other services will be able to support you.

Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) focuses particularly on LGBT+ people having equal and clear access to services, such as housing and fostering.

Along with housing a range of employee networks internally, Gloucestershire County Council work towards determining an understanding of who lives within the county and their backgrounds, releasing this interactive report in 2018.

Gloucestershire Humanists (a partner group of Humanists UK) is an inclusive group with a shared interest in humanism, and the concept of
being good without god. They meet regularly to discuss local and world issues from a humanist perspective and to hear from a wide range of
speakers about work they are doing to help others.

The Cheltenham Trust runs several venues around the town, including The Wilson Art Gallery, the Town Hall, Pittville Pump Rooms, Prince Of Wales Stadium and Leisure@.

They have been a big support to the Partnership, including the offer of their various venues on numerous occasions, as well as a lot of external engagement work to highlight diversity across the town.

Part of The Nelson Trust, The Sober Parrot is a alcohol-free bar in Cheltenham. The Partnership hosts regular socials here with a variety of LGBT+ locals and friends.
